Mission Statement

To create a sense of community and appreciation for Muskegon's Downtown through a family-oriented social event. Sponsored by a variety of Muskegon County 501C not-for-profit groups, the proceeds from the parties either make physical enhancements or quality of life improvements for the whole community.

The mission of the Parties of the Park, Inc. Board of Directors is to provide direction, structure, fairness and quality assurance for the Muskegon Party in the Park events.

Sponsor

Muskegon County Non-profit organizations interested in sponsoring a Party in the Park should submit a Non-Profit Sponsor Application postmarked by 12/1/11 to PIP, Po Box 1461, Muskegon, MI 49443

To be considered as a music entertainment provider for a future Party in the Park, the Music Entertainment Application and Demo must be submitted to the Parties in the Park, Inc. P.O. Box 1461, Muskegon, MI 49443.

Goals of Parties in the Park, Inc.

To plan throughout the year, the upcoming season of Parties and to process applications with an established criterion.

To provide lower cost liquor liability insurance to the Party Sponsor Groups.

To secure funding for the promotion of the Party in the Park events.

To handle the promotion of each event.

To guide the sponsor groups through the Party in the Park organizing process.

To secure the best rates on Party in the Park amenities

To assure quality and continuity in each Party through a written evaluation process
