Muskegon, MI - Get ready to taste a variety of Michigan brews at the annual “Party in the Mark”. This annual event will once again be held at Watermark 920 in Muskegon. The event will take place on May 12th, 2016 from 5:00 – 9:00 PM and will feature dozens of craft beers, including local favorites from Unruly, Pigeon Hill, Fetch Brewing and Grand Armory. There will be a variety of other Michigan favorites as well. The event kicks off the popular summer event “Parties in the Park”, held on Fridays throughout summer in Hackley Park. This precursor event provides guidance for the beer selection for the summer parties, so be sure to come prepared to share your voice!
$5 Admission at the door will get you three samples. Additional samples can be purchased for an additional $1. Food will be available for purchase from Fatty Lumpkins and Modern Entertainment will provide entertainment.
The Muskegon County Fair Association will sponsor the first Party in the Park on June 2nd. Music will be provided by Stolen Horses. Be sure to get to Hackley Park early as Parties in the Park will continue the tradition of “Happy Hour” from 5:00 – 6:00 with $1 off adult beverages.
Craft beer selections from local breweries including Pigeon Hill, Unruly, Fetch and Grand Armory will be featured once again; in addition, Parties in the Park will be bringing you a variety of food options, including Pork N Stein, Ice Box Brand Ice Cream, Just Klassics, Rosita’s Tacos, Bernie O’s, Fatty Lumpkins, Rebel Pies, Ruth Ann’s Ice Cream and JP Hot Dogs.
Back by popular demand, the Kid Zone will offer more streamlined activities for kids and families, which is in line with the mission of the Parties in the Park to create a sense of community and appreciation for Muskegon’s downtown through a family-oriented event.
