The Mission of Parties in the Park is to create a sense of community and appreciation for Muskegon's Downtown through a family-oriented social event. Sponsored by a variety of Muskegon County not-for-profit groups, the proceeds from the Parties either make physical enhancements or quality of life improvements for the whole community.
A Downtown Muskegon Tradition
For more than 30 year's Parties in the Park has been a Muskegon institution providing Friday evening entertainment, free admission, and a family-friendly atmosphere. Be a part of the tradition and enjoy your summer evening with us downtown in Hackley Park.
Parties in the Park is celebrating its 35th season, bringing over 20,000 people to Hackley Park in downtown Muskegon each summer. In addition our partnership with the Taste of Muskegon will gain your company exposure to 5,000 people on the Friday night of their event alone. Each individual party benefits a different non-profit organization that is working to improve the quality of life for Muskegon County residents. The more we can offset the cost of operating our events, the greater the portion of the proceeds our non-profit partners can dedicate to helping our community.
With five local Muskegon food vendors at every party, there's something for everyone. You'll never go home hungry.
This National Historic Designated Park is a formally designed park dedicated to the memory of Civil War veterans, presented to the City in 1890 by Charles H. Hackley.
